Also it’s really easy to pick up accents if you hear it all the freaking time. And by that I mean…I’m starting to sound southern. I say y’all unironically. It’s horrible.

Very true.  By the end of study abroad I was successfully able to fend off a number of horny Dubliners by pretending I was from Cork. 

Made one of them cry, actually.  But to be fair he was really drunk. 

Then had to spend like a half an hour consoling the dude that his trek to the tourist district was not in vain and that he’d find a nice American girl to have sex with him if he’d just stick around a little bit longer.
